Dietary approaches and nutrients targeting the autophagy-lysosomal pathway are regarded as novel opportunities to treat rare diseases affecting multiple target organs. We are using a multi-level approach to investigate the underlying mechanisms of metabolic changes and dietary interventions to develop new therapeutic strategies for genetic endolysosomal disorders.
